Description
- Assist nursing staff, providers (APRN and/or Psychiatrist), and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) with managing day-to-day clinic responsibilities in a fast paced, open access environment.
- Establish a helping relationship and effectively communicate with patients and/or guardians in a behavioral health outpatient setting.
- Complete and document vital signs, height, and weight, when needed.
- Obtain and document necessary information from patients and/or guardians to ensure the Electronic Health Record (EHR) is updated with correct information.
- Stage documentation, as required, in EHR.
- Answer and route calls and messages.
- Complete urine drug screens (UDS), when needed.
- Review treatment/service plan, on behalf of provider, demonstrating a thorough understanding of cultural issues and privacy rights.
- Respectful and effective interaction with patients, natural/paid supports, co-workers, and other stakeholders.
- Review and monitor information in the EHR to ensure accuracy.
- Document contact attempts, interactions, etc. with patients, guardians, referral source, etc. appropriately in the EHR.
- Assist team with monitoring caseload and attempt to re-engage patients by phone who are due for routine appointments

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years medical or behavioral health experience.
- Experience working with a co-occurring population preferred.
- Licensure, certification, registration are current including continuing education requirements.
- Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test.
- Valid FL drivers’ license, insurance, and safe driving record.
- CBHC New Hire Orientation (NHO) completed within first two (2) months of employment.
- Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
- Ability to use a computer.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in collaboration with other community partners.
