This position plays a vital role in supporting Brady’s contracting project manager(s). The major function of this role is to interact with and support the assigned Project Managers in the day-to-day tasks involved in development, pricing, planning and execution of projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Requires attention to details and the ability to work at a fast pace to meet deadlines.
  • Helps to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverable.
  • Prepares project close document at projects completion.
  • Is responsible for creating Microsoft project schedule as needed.
  • Handles take-off of drawings
  • Oversees the submittal review and approval process.
  • Maintains a list of qualified subcontractor in First Verify.
  • Manages multiple tasks and follow up with both internal and external customers.
  • Creates operation and maintenance manuals for Contracting PM’s.
  • Assists PM’s in getting pricing for all material, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Works with PM to ensure all materials and equipment have been ordered and is scheduled to arrive prior to scheduling project start date.
  • Pulls all permits prior to starting project and schedules all inspection after project completion.
  • Assists with communication to vendors, subcontractors, field personnel, and customers.
  • Schedules meetings for projects and project updates.
  • Possesses working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, legal regulations, and recommended best practices
  • Collaborate with all Associates to uphold the company's mission and values
  • Travel 20% of the time is required

 

WORK HOURS: Monday thru Thursday, overtime/weekends as required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

This position requires frequent visits to job sites, which could require working outdoors, in mechanical/equipment rooms and possibly in extreme weather conditions. In addition, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Qualifications


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school
  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Proficiency with computer devices (including laptops and smart phones) and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Apple iOS software
  • Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC or Temperature Controls
  • Ability to pass drug screening
  • Ability to prove US employment eligibility
  • Must possess a valid drivers license
