Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Demand Planning Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping our supply chain by developing and delivering accurate demand plans that support our core brands. You will be a key player in our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, driving continuous improvement and cross-functional alignment to optimize our service levels and financial performance. This is an individual contributor role that will require significant leadership, including the ability to develop and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

What You'll Do (Essential Job Duties):

  • Lead and execute the demand planning process, including statistical forecast generation and assumption management, to produce a rolling >24-month unbiased forecast that minimizes out-of-stocks.
  • Achieve targeted forecast accuracy measures by analyzing performance, addressing gaps, and ensuring variances are resolved through consistent scorecard reviews.
  • Coordinate the demand work-process for running business, promotional activities, and new product launches, ensuring all plans are well-documented and tracked.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop the demand plan through Sales/ Marketing/CPFR demand reviews.
  • Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) by helping to reconcile the operational demand plan with the financial annual operating plan, ensuring enterprise-wide alignment.
  • Assist with managing Risks & Opportunities (R&Os), coordinating and tracking key activities to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Champion continuous improvement on our demand planning processes, documentation, and Planning software to implement best practices and enhance efficiency.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of demand planning experience in a high-volume, complex environment.
  • Proven ability to analyze large datasets, transforming them into actionable, fact-based information.
  • Experience creating models for demand prediction and scenario planning.
  • Expertise in MS Office (Excel) and/or Google Sheets, with experience using Demand Generation software.
  • Strong operational discipline with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to present to cross-functional teams.
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven, with the ability to challenge the status quo and solve problems creatively.
  • Ability to make fast and effective decisions under pressure.
  • A collaborative and ethical team player who can manage diverse tasks with limited supervision.
  • APICS certification is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, passport, and the ability to travel internationally as needed.

Working Conditions:

  • Environment: Remote. If in the office, work is performed primarily indoors under artificial lighting. You will have close contact with all company employees and customers.
  • Equipment: The role requires consistent use of standard office equipment, including a computer, laptop, telephone, and printer. You will also be around other work equipment and machinery.
  • Physical Demands: This position requires sitting, repetitive use of hands, walking, standing, and reaching overhead. You must also be able to lift up to 40 lbs and drive a car.
  • Hours & Travel: The standard workweek is Monday through Friday, though some overtime and weekend work may be required. The position is remote w/ some travel to our Vallejo, CA campus.
