JOB SUMMARY:
The Operations Supervisor is an experienced leader responsible for managing a team of operational staff in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. This role balances people leadership with operational performance, ensuring accountability, KPI achievement, and continuous improvement. The supervisor fosters collaboration across departments and promotes a culture of communication, integrity, and teamwork to support overall company success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervise daily operations and ensure established goals, standards, and KPIs are met.
- Monitor compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, and operational policies.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to drive accountability, skill growth, and engagement.
- Track and analyze KPIs and operational metrics, reporting results and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Reallocate resources and adjust priorities to meet workload demands and maintain productivity.
- Review and approve timesheets, time-off requests, and other employee-related documentation.
- Issue corrective actions when performance, attendance, or policy issues arise.
- Collaborate with all operational departments — including Production, Quality, Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory — to ensure smooth workflow and problem resolution.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Proven ability to manage performance, hold individuals accountable, and track results through KPIs.
- Strong knowledge of operational processes in one or more areas (Production, Quality, Shipping, Inventory, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience leading teams in an operational environment is preferred but not required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, or related field preferred but not required.
