At our Lancaster and Lebanon campuses, we operate our own outpatient orthopedic surgery center—NPSC—where we perform a wide range of surgeries, including total joint replacements, using the most advanced techniques available.

Summary/Objective:
Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster is currently in search of a full-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our esteemed orthopedic practice, which boasts a team of 20 surgeons, 3 physiatrists, 2 podiatrists, a primary care sports medicine physician, an EMG certified neurologist, and 15 Physician Assistants. This presents an outstanding opportunity to become part of a multi-specialty group that prioritizes patient care and has a longstanding tradition of excellence in the community, spanning five office locations and two outpatient surgical centers. Typical week schedule includes hospital- based rounding and patient management, independent clinical schedule, surgical first assist in the hospital and surgery center settings, and orthopedic urgent care coverage. Additional compensation is provided for those undertaking on-call duties.

Work collaboratively with the physician in the identification, treatment, and management or orthopedic problems.

Work as the first assist in surgery.

Assist physician in office by performing complete, detailed, and accurate histories, review of patient records, and documentation in EMR system.

Examine and treat orthopedic patients, to include injections and reductions.

Establish rapport, educate, and counsel patients and family as to current situation, developing and implementing a treatment plan.

Maintains and acquires knowledge and skills to perform required duties to meet all office, hospital, state, organizational and licensure requirements.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Current valid state Physician Assistant license.

Current valid ACLS.
