Job Summary:
Reporting to the Associate Vice President (AVP), the Director of Auxiliary Services provides strategic leadership, fiscal oversight, and operational management for the institution’s Auxiliary Services units. This role involves conducting research and analysis on market trends, customer preferences, and cost efficiencies to guide data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. The Director develops, monitors, and manages budgets for all auxiliary operations, ensuring fiscal accountability and timely reporting of revenues and expenditures.The Director oversees key service areas including parking and transportation, meal plan administration, and various auxiliary units such as Dining Services, Bookstore, Mailroom, Copy & Print, Event & Conference Services, Classroom Scheduling, Vending, and ID Services. They are responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, operational efficiency, and compliance with institutional policies.
A collaborative leader, the Director works closely with internal and external stakeholders—including Information Technology Services, Campus Safety, Physical Plant, vendors, and academic leadership—to enhance integration, coordination, and customer satisfaction across all auxiliary operations. The Director supports the overall mission and strategic goals of the institution through effective administration, financial stewardship, and service excellence.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Research and Analysis:
The Director conducts research and analysis related to Auxiliary Services functions, such as market trends, customer preferences, and cost analysis. This information helps in making informed decisions and improving the efficiency of operations.
Budgetary Services and Accountability:
The Director is responsible for developing and managing the budget for Auxiliary Services. They ensure that financial resources are allocated appropriately and monitor expenditures to maintain fiscal accountability. This includes monthly reports to AVP on generated revenue for each unit within Auxiliary Services.
Regis Parking Services and Transportation:
The Director is responsible for managing the organization's parking services and transportation needs. This includes overseeing parking permit systems, parking enforcement, transportation options for students and employees, and addressing any related issues.
Meal Plan Management:
The Director manages the implementation, sign-up process, and customer service for meal plans offered to students. They ensure that the meal plans meet the needs and preferences of the campus community while maintaining high-quality service.
Collaborative Relationships:
The Director works collaboratively with various stakeholders, including the ITS (Information Technology Services) department for systems integrations, Campus Safety, Physical Plant, vendors, and multiple Deans from the colleges. This collaborative approach ensures effective coordination and integration of Auxiliary Services with other departments and units within the institution.
Administration and Operations:
The Director assists the AVP with overseeing the administrative and operational aspects of Auxiliary Services. This includes coordinating with different units within Auxiliary Services, such as Dining Services, Bookstore, Mailroom, Copy & Print, Event & Conference Services, Classroom Scheduling, Parking & Transportation, Vending, and Student and Employee IDs.
Working conditions:
Work is done in an office setting. May require occasional weekend and/or evening hours. Limited travel may be necessary.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
4 years of related experience
A track record of working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
Strong oral (including public speaking), written and interpersonal skills required.
Advanced knowledge of university Auxiliary Services operations and functions
Preferred Qualifications:
Current experience in a university Auxiliary Services department

Pay Rate:
