SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining a 24 hour, 7 days a week plan of internal and external building safety, and oversee operations of the facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for scheduling of all staff in his/her areas of responsibility.
- Responsible for fire safety management and immediate disposition of incidents and accidents.
- Supervision of overall cleanliness and sanitation at the facility.
- Maintain log and files of all matters pertaining to safety.
- Works cooperatively and collaboratively with the Program Director, Social Services Director and the Shift Supervisor on all details of the facility.
- Should be knowledgeable about all regulations, policies, and procedures in order to be compliant in all areas.
- Attendance at all required supervisory meetings.
Qualifications
Position requires extensive supervisory experience in the security field as well as knowledge of facilities management. Bilingual Spanish highly preferred. HSD/GED required. Needs ability to establish workload priorities and balance diverse projects. Clean and valid driver license is required. Must have exceptional communication skills both orally and in writing with individuals and groups regarding complex and sensitive issues or regulations. Physical ability to perform the essential job functions are needed. In addition, the Operations Coordinator shall perform any duties as required to meet the needs of the program and the clients we serve.
