Description
The Little Friends Center for Autism is looking to hire a part-time Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) or Behavior Therapist (BT) to their team on weekdays.
Hours
12-3pm Monday-Friday
Some flexibility may be available
Compensation:
$20 per hour without bachelor’s degree or RBT
Up to $23.50 upon getting RBT
Accountability:
Reports directly to the assigned Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing individual applied behavior analysis skill acquisition services to clients with autism spectrum disorder and other language delays, including:
- Assist with Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills-Revised (Ablls-R) for assigned children based on BCBA direction.
- Implement programs based on the program designed by the BCBA.
- Update and maintain client’s program book in an orderly fashion on a weekly basis.
- Collaborate with other clinicians at LFCA.
- Meet with parents at the end of session to update them and give them suggestions for home.
- Attend team and staff meetings as assigned
- Report data on goals and objectives to BCBA as requested to meet insurance requirements.
- Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
- Fill out code encounter form each session
- Write SOAP notes after each session.
- Must act in a professional manner which reflects positively on herself or himself and Little Friends / Little Friends Center for Autism.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma; bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social services or related degree in progress or completed preferred.
- Experience with ABA therapy, Developmental Disabilities and Autism.
- Must have a Registered Behavior Technician certificate or proof of completion of registered behavior technician 40-hour course.
- Agree to take the RBT test within 180 days of completing classes which is required by the BACB.
- Must evidence ability to make sound judgments, and must be able to implement treatment plans, and take written data accurately under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavior Analysis.
