Objective
Under general supervision, formulates,processes, packages, documents, and maintains adequate inventory of finishedprofessional products for company use.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities includethe following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsiblefor 100% accuracy in documentation of batch record activities, adherence toprocedure, and a timely delivering of batch samples to appropriate inspectingpersonnel.
Weigh,add, and mix prescribed quantities of raw materials in prescribed sequence andduration, per procedure.
Notifyappropriate inspection person before starting any production operation andensures their verification of all operational steps.
Operateequipment in performance of job responsibilities such as mixers, weigh oranalytical scale, forklift, etc.
Cleanwork surfaces and equipment before and after use.
Adhereto rules and regulations when neutralizing and/or disposing of materials.
Adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures includingISO, safety, and security.
Maintain organized and clean work area ensuring tools and supplies arestored in proper places at end of shift.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities includethe following. Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/orExperience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with two to three years related experience;or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience with compounding a plus.

Language Skills

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and ability to performthese operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume,and distance.
Computer Skills
Ability to learnvarious software programs.

Driver’s license; forklift license.

Knowledgeof medical device manufacturing or related field.
Knowledge ofcurrent company products and processes.
Skill in demonstrating proficiency in working withhand and power tools.
Skill in demonstrating keen eyesight with theability to differentiate slight color shades.
Ability to demonstrate basic mechanicalaptitude in performing minor equipment adjustments and maintenance.
Ability to demonstrate good mathematical skills,including aptitude for weights and measures.
Ability to work for prolonged periods in sitting or standing position, bending over, climbing stairs or ladders.
Ability to demonstrate excellent communication, both verbal and written, with employees of various disciplines within various departments and allother internal and external contacts.
Ability to accurately perform detail-oriented work.
Ability to be flexible in changing daily workload priorities asdirected.

The employee is regularly requiredto work around equipment or machinery, drive a forklift; is exposed toexcessive noise, extreme humidity or wetness; and use visual and/or hearingprotective equipment such as safety glasses, earplugs, and gloves. Normal vision (with corrective lenses, ifnecessary) is required for the job. Special vision abilities include close vision, color and/or depthperception. The work environment is noisy.
The posted range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00 per hour which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
