Job Description:
Grant Funded, 27.5 hours/per week, Valley View Interventionist position beginning November, 2025.
 
Bachelor’s Degree, required
Certification Endorsement Preferred:  102, 113, 305, 005, or 013
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Valley View Interventionist supports students, teachers, and administrators by providing small group intervention in and outside of the classroom.
 
The specific duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

1. Administer formal and informal assessments to identify specific skill deficits and strengths for students who require Tier 2 or Tier 3 reading and mathematics intervention.
2. Provide instructional reading and mathematics intervention for Tier 2 and Tier 3 students and support classroom teachers in designing and implementing intervention lessons for classroom intervention blocks.
3. Assist classroom teachers with administering Tier 1 curriculum based assessments.  
4. Assist principal in collecting data and writing reports required for the grant that funds this position.
