The Inventory Control employee is responsible for all inventory control, cycle counting, and inventory issue resolution as well as complaint research and inventory reports. 

Hiring all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
Starting at $19/hr

Essential Job Functions
  • Responsible for assisting with all inventory control, cycle counting, and inventory issue resolution as well as inventory reports. 
  • Helps to source answers for inventory discrepancies and correct those issues. 
  • Plan/participate in inventories (including annual), coordinate the inventory process as needed. Complete reconciliation of inventory results. 
  • Organize and maintain the Inventory Control Process.
  • Development and training of inventory processes.
  • Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and security. 
  • Follow all safety and security regulations and company guidelines. 
  • Complete all safety training, within the specified timeframe, applying all appropriate actions. 
  • Utilize all tools and equipment as trained to do so, stopping when unsafe, utilizing Hub Group employee’s Stop Work Authority. 
  • Honors commitments and the values of Hub Group (Service, Integrity and Innovation).
  • Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job. Overtime may be required. 
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent related experience.  
  • Previous experience with material operating equipment (minimum 1 year with electric pallet jack and/or a minimum of 1-3 years with other material operating equipment).   
  • Previous experience using RF Scanner and WMS systems preferred.  
  • Ability to follow procedures and work instructions. 
  • Ability to read and write legibly. 
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers, leads, supervisors, and/or manager as to progress in tasks/functions being performed.  
  • Ability to perform calculations involving adding, counting, subtracting, division and multiplication.
