Position Duties
- Develop and execute community-based marketing campaigns that align with overall brand and business objectives.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with BGSU student group leaders, influencers, local organizations, and key stakeholders.
- Organize and attend games, pop-up events, and partnerships to promote the brand and engage directly with target audiences.
- Distribute marketing materials (flyers, posters, samples, etc.) in strategic locations across campus.
- Track social media followers and engagement.
- Monitor trends, feedback, and competitor activity at the community level and recommend improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in grassroots marketing, field marketing, community organizing, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable with public speaking and community engagement.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple local campaigns simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Familiarity with BGSU athletics.
