Program Manager - Delivery
Location: Middleton, WI, WI, United StatesParadigm is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction & building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for a Program Manager - Delivery to be part of revolutionizing these industries.
The Program Manager � Delivery will lead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives that modernize technology, optimize processes and drive measurable business impact. In addition to overseeing strategic planning, and delivery of multiple concurrent digital programs, this role is responsible for managing and directing the work of a small team of project managers to ensure consistent high-quality execution across workstreams.
What You Will Do:
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of digital transformation programs across product, design, engineering and business operations, and deliver transparent reporting, to senior and executive leadership.
- Responsible for managing, as well as mentoring and growing a small team of Project Managers (2-5 people).
- Responsible for creating clear & attainable project objectives, building out program requirements & managing the associated constraints of the project including cost, time, scope & quality.
- Define, monitor, and report on KPIs such as program velocity, adoption rate, ROI, and quality metrics; lead continuous improvement initiatives across delivery practices.
- Provide risk & issue management; spot & minimize potential project risk/issues that might delay the project completion.
- Proactively manage scope changes; that create a win-win environment.
- Create & maintain program level documentation that is the single source of truth of programs to keep teams aligned & informed.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor�s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in program and project management, with at least 2 years leading a team of Project or Program Managers.
- Experience either formally or informally managing employees in a software implementation setting.
- You are a pro at managing multiple projects and programs concurrently.
- You enjoy and are successful at leading & motivating project and cross functional team members.
- Broad knowledge of project & program management methodologies & techniques (including Waterfall & Agile).
- Proven ability to handle difficult conversations with customers and employees. You can translate these skills and train others to do the same.
- Experience working within the software industry. Start up or high growth experience highly preferred.
- Comfortable with presentations to the C-Suite and have experience developing stakeholder & sponsorship relationships.
- Experience improving project management practices, templates & tools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical messages, with benefits & trade offs to provide clarity & direction.
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to lead a team of non-direct reports to push the solution & progress.
