WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

As a member of our Depot Service Department, you will be part of a team growing our in-house repair

program and delivering quality products for our customers. There is opportunity to both master new

skills and advance your career within the company.

The Depot Service Technician will have a direct impact on our expanding Service Organization and be

responsible for:

 

• In-house repairs, including troubleshooting and testing on various CPI products.

• Accurately updating work orders with parts and labor time for repairs and communicating with

customers on status when necessary.

• Checking warranty status on the company system.

• Quality and on-time delivery of finished products.

 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 

You will bring attention to quality and delivery with well-demonstrated success in technical repairs and

troubleshooting.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

 

• 1-2 years of technical training or equivalent work experience in the electro-mechanical repairs

field.

• Capable of troubleshooting, reading and understanding manuals, illustrated parts lists, and work

instructions.

• Computer skills: Able to perform data input and use Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Accurately track and receive customer-returned machines and modules.

• Accurately record parts and labor time into the depot service system for all repairs.

• Operate equipment, such as electric/air tools, and various hand tools and equipment during the

repair process.

• Follow all policy and safety guidelines associated with the work area.

• Perform quality checks during the repair process and test repaired machines and modules for

pass/fail certification.

• Maintain the general cleanliness of assigned workspace, workstation, and department.

• Position requires the ability to lift, bend and squat. Needs to bend/pivot to pick up and lift

machines and modules from the rack or pallet and carry to the table where the work is to be

performed.

• Repetitive functions utilizing both hands - lifting, positioning/repositioning products, and

components of varying weights. Product weights vary from 15 to 40 pounds.

• All other duties as required
