About the Role

The Unit Manager - LPN/RN at Greenwood Health and Living plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring that residents receive the highest quality of care. This position is responsible for managing nursing staff, coordinating patient care, and implementing policies that promote a safe and effective environment. The Unit Manager will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans that meet the individual needs of residents. Additionally, this role involves monitoring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, ensuring that the unit operates efficiently and effectively. Ultimately, the Unit Manager is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents while fostering a supportive and collaborative workplace for staff.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to promote professional development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in the state of Indiana.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings.
