We are currently seeking a full-time, exempt, Operations Manager with a strong retail and operations background and proven client and partner relationships experience to join our retail and glass production operation at Jamestown Glasshouse in Williamsburg, VA.  

The Operations Manager, Jamestown Glasshouse (OMJG) oversees retail store operations, interpretive programs, glass production and facilities management of multiple locations according to established policies, procedures, and standards.  

Certifications, Experience, Abilities or Knowledge: 

1. Minimum of five years people management, leadership, and production experience.
2. A strong sense of urgency to improve operational efficiency.
3. Effective communication skills which may include public speaking with groups and stakeholders.
4. Thrives in a multi-tasking, high energy environment with shifting priorities. Sound problem solving skills.
5. Ability to operate effectively under pressure and to work independently as well as part of a team.
6. Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 30 pounds to a shelf height of 5 feet; standing for long periods of time to include bending, squatting, and reaching.
7. Requires a valid driver’s license and access to privately owned vehicle.

Minimum Educational Requirements: 

1. High School Education at a minimum with commensurate experience. 
2. AA/AS or BA/BS degree preferred.
