Purpose of Role:

Processing rubber to be used as lining in mining equipment through the operation of a machine. Ensure production and quality targets are met. There is a strong team environment that is focused on safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventories material in the warehouse (e.g., responsible for on-hand balances, investigating inventory errors, and weekly cycle counts).

  • Receives, stores, and issues material to departments (e.g., generates pick list and bills of material; maintains daily shipment logs; pulls/issues cores to work orders)

  • Ability to assist machine operators when needed

  • Places incoming supplies in assigned areas; makes necessary adjustments to invoice records. (e.g., all aspects related to MRP and ERP systems)

  • Operates necessary equipment to support production (e.g., forklift, cranes, etc.)

  • Maintains a clean work area using 5S system.

  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.


Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Ability to read a tape measure and understand how to convert the measurements

  • Ability to follow instructions and carry out work duties

  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver large, awkward items.

  • Perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and reaching.

  • Stand and work on concrete floors for up to 10+ hours per shift.
