Position: Supervising Clinician 

Pay: $62,000 - $65,000

Location: Amherst, NY

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 37.5 hrs./week

Your Impact as a Supervising Clinician

The Supervising Clinician is responsible for a broad range of clinical duties, as well as supervision of staff and special assignments. General duties include supervising staff, implementing department standards, providing team consultation, conducting and/or assisting with conducting descriptive analyses, functional behavioral assessments, functional analyses, development and implementation of interim behavioral protocols, behavior support plans, behavior management plans. The Supervising Clinician will supervise Behavior Support Consultants and/or Technicians and will work collaboratively with teams.

  • Supervise behavior support consultants and/or technicians
  • Ensure that behavioral standards are followed
  • Provide data-based behavioral consultation to teams
  • Provide direct clinical oversight, coordination, and supervision
  • Serve as a leader to behavior staff
  • Provide and oversee crisis intervention services for individuals
  • Maintain all records required

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Master’s degree in special education, school psychology, behavior analysis or a related field OR at least 5 years of experience working as a Behavioral Consultant or equivalent job title with developmentally disabled individuals using Applied Behavior Analysis methods.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Certification as a NYS Teacher of Special Education or School Psychologist and/or certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board preferred.
