Salary: $18.04 per hour, Full time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, some weekends and evenings required

Ability Beyond Barriers is a compassionate and mission-driven organization dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and structured environment for individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced House Manager to oversee daily operations of two of our group homes.

Position Summary:

The House Manager is responsible for the overall management of the group homes, ensuring a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for residents. This includes supervising staff, coordinating care, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support direct care staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure residents’ needs are met, including medical and daily living support.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with state and company policy and regulations.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, case managers, and families.
• Oversee household operations including meal planning, medication administration, and transportation.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the home.
• Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a residential or group home setting.
• Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
