Why you'll love us:
  • Supportive, Fun Team Culture - We take our work seriously, but we never miss a chance to laugh, celebrate, and snack together. Our team genuinely enjoys what they do - and who they do it with.
  • Full-Service Veterinary Expertise - From puppy vaccines to exotic care and advanced surgery, no two days are the same. You'll stay sharp and never get bored.
  • Rescue Partnerships that Matter - We're proud to partner with local rescues, giving countless pets a fresh start. You'll have a direct hand (and heart) in those success stories.
  • Growth & Teamwork Culture We're big believers in cross-training, teamwork, and constant learning. Bring your curiosity - we'll help you grow your skills and confidence every day.
You'll be a great fit if:
  • You love animals (obviously) and can keep calm, cool, and collected in the chaos
  • You're a people person who understands that great pet care starts with great communication.
  • You thrive in a team environment where everyone pitches in and has each other's backs.
  • You're organized, adaptable, and ready to get your hands dirty - in a good way.
  • You believe a sense of humor is just as important as a sense of urgency.
What you'll do:
  • Keep accurate medical records and help answer client questions.

  • Prep patients for exams, procedures, and surgeries.

  • Assist with diagnostic tests (bloodwork, fecals, urinalysis, etc.)

  • Administer medications and document treatments accurately.

  • Monitor patients during recovery and communicate changes to the team.

  • Safely restrain patients during exams and procedures.

  • Help educate pet parents on medications, treatments, and follow-up care.

  • Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical tools clean and organized.

  • Partner with our doctors and credentialed technicians to deliver top-tier, compassionate care.

The spark we’re looking for:
  • Veterinary experience is awesome, but we value attitude, curiosity, and hustle even more.
  • Bring a sunny, can-do vibe that lifts the whole team - even on those messy, busy days.
  • Keep moving on your feet throughout the day and lift up to 40 lbs like a champ.
Perks + Benefits
  • Competitive pay, based on experience
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance (some plans include free outpatient mental health care)
  • Generous CE allowance + paid CE time
  • Uniform allowance
  • Pet care discounts for your personal pets
  • PTO, floating holidays, parental leave, and military leave
  • A robust Employee Assistance Program (from finances to wellness and everything in between)
  • Access to Encore Vet Group’s library of training, CE, and career development resources
  • A 401(k) with up to 5% company match.
