The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and luxury presentation throughout the resort. This role oversees all housekeeping operations — including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces — ensuring an exceptional guest experience that reflects the resort’s five-star standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a pristine and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and inspire the housekeeping and laundry teams to deliver consistent luxury-level cleanliness and service.
  • Maintain daily inspection routines for guest rooms, public areas, and employee spaces.
  • Ensure all guest accommodations and resort areas meet brand standards.
  • Manage scheduling, payroll, and inventory of cleaning supplies and linen.
  • Develop and enforce quality assurance standards and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and feedback, ensuring quick and effective resolutions.
  • Monitor performance, coach team members, and foster a culture of pride, teamwork, and professionalism.
  • Oversee deep cleaning projects, special event setups, and seasonal maintenance programs.
  • Uphold sustainability practices in product use and operational efficiency.

 

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of housekeeping management experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Strong eye for detail, organization, and aesthetics.
  • Excellent understanding of cleaning techniques, materials, and industry standards.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team
