Postition:    Musical (Middle School): Musical and Stage Director 

Carlisle Area School District is seeking a lead musical director for the middle schools.

This position requires the candidate to:

• Direct and produce musical review for middle school (vocal and instrumental - as necessary) 
• Duties inclusive of choreography, staging, set design, costuming, vocal rehearsals, instrumental accompaniment. 
• Communicate expectations, process, and schedules to parents and students. 
• Establish a schedule for students and building. 
• Arrange necessary spaces in FMX. 
• Communicate with technical support. 
• Lead all rehearsals with soloists and cast members. 
• Organize stage crew (as necessary)
• Organize parent volunteers.  
• Be available for after-school (3:00-4:30 pm) rehearsals between January and March 2026.  
• Co-ordinate a day-time performance for middle school students.
• Co-ordinate and support an evening performance for the general public. 

 Requirements:     Act 24 Arrest/Conviction Certification; Act 34 Criminal Clearance; Act 151 Child Line Clearance; Act 114 FBI Fingerprinting Security Clearances; Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release and SafeSchools Training
