POSITION DESCRIPTION: Our Pet Care and Client Concierge is a "people person" who loves animals. They are skilled problem solvers and multi-taskers. They focus on providing our clients with excellent care while occasionally helping with pet care (feeding/let-outs). They are team players who recognize we all play a part in providing an excellent client and pet experience. 

DAY IN THE LIFE:

This shift will consist of answering client questions via phone regarding our dog and cat services (daycare/boarding/grooming), greeting clients, checking clients in and out using our computer system, scheduling appointments and consultations, setting up pet care, collecting client forms and entering data, organizing belongings, cleaning lobby and common areas, other cleaning duties, being a team player and assisting in feeding/refilling waters/taking pets outside if needed, bringing pets checking in/out to and from their suites, creating estimates, and other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

SCHEDULE:  Morning to Mid-Afternoon, Five Days on Two Days off, Weekends and Holidays included. 

(Some variation will occur due to occupancy and business needs. The schedule can be flexible pending ideal candidates' qualifications and needs.) 

PAY: $10-$14/Hr HOURS: Avg 30- 35 hours/week 

WILL YOU THRIVE IN THIS POSITION? This is an excellent position for someone with general animal husbandry knowledge who enjoys caring for people and would like a role where their multi-tasking and problem-solving skills can be used. The position requires complex computer operating systems, multi-line phones, and pet treatment platforms. College students who desire to learn more in veterinary medicine or animal care (and can fit the schedule) are encouraged to apply. Rotating holidays are required, but time may still be spent with family.

This is an entry to mid-level position where growth can be found in pet care and leadership at Sidekicks Stay & Play; other growth opportunities are also possible in our parent company, Swann Animal Clinic, in veterinary medicine.
