OMEGA SYSTEMS JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Inside Sales Representative
Reports To: Sr. Sales Operations Manager
Division: Sales
FSLA: Exempt
Office Designation: Hybrid (Elmwood Park, NJ), Open to fully remote
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) role plays a pivotal part in our organization by supporting our sales team and customers. Communication with various departments is critical to the success of the sales process and the ISR is responsible to efficiently communicate with internal teams, customers, and vendors on a daily basis. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, have the ability to multitask and be comfortable working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Functional Responsibility and Task Statements
- Work directly in communicating and negotiating with vendors and distributors for quoting, product availability, and pricing
- Maintain and enter all deal registrations on large opportunities
- Generate accurate and complete quotes based on pricing, services, and build of materials received from the sales team or engineers
- Handle customer quote requests such as workstation setups, licenses requests, and hardware/software renewals.
- Responsible for gross margin and profitability calculations and understanding the budget for the opportunity
- Responsible for owning the entire quoting process and ensuring the quote is sent to the customer in a timely manner
- Responsible for drafting all customer agreements ensuring contracts align with company policies and standards.
- Responsible for opportunity management by accurately maintaining opportunities, utilizing sales activities to track and follow up until closed.
- Develop and maintain successful relationships with customers, vendors, and internal departments, with the goal of increasing the volume of sales and profitability of the business.

Environmental: The job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.
Travel Requirements: Minimal travel is required for this position.
Qualifications and Experience
- BA/BS Degree is preferred
- 1-3 years' experience in information technology or a sales support role preferred
- Managed Services Provider Experience a plus
- Strong math background
- Possess a positive attitude, insightful, energetic and a great problem solver
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with acute attention to detail.
- Excellent and consistent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse groups of people.
- Customer-focused with the ability to maintain customer satisfaction.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and/or ConnectWise a plus
