Organization & Team Overview
Comcast’s Technology & Product organization designs, develops and supports innovative products and services that bring broadband, wireless, video and voice experiences to residential and business customers throughout the world, with more than 57 million customer relationships across the U.S. and Europe. The team also works to ensure the performance of our network in the U.S., including speeds and capacity that customers rely on to stay connected to what matters most, and builds and operations mission-critical systems, including those that monitor our network and its associated cloud infrastructure.
The CONNECT Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management team is responsible for the overall resource and project/portfolio planning to ensure alignment with overall goals and strategies. We work closely with the senior leadership teams, product and project managers to gather scope, business value, prioritization, commitments, and dispositions for quarterly planning.

As a Technical Portfolio Management Co-op on the CONNECT Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management team, you will be responsible to provide support for the quarterly planning process which involves ensuring the following steps are completed:

What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In your role, you will help with building and maintaining the CONNECT Portfolio, managing programs by ensuring every project within a program aligns with CONNECT's vision and strategic goals. Assist with prioritizing projects that are in scope for the quarter and coordinate with project managers to obtain status updates in meeting quarterly deliverables. You will be responsible for creating compelling visualizations to help drive business decisions.
Where can this student make an impact?
You will have the opportunity to make process improvements including automation in processes and notifications. You will be able to work on developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and visuals reports using potential tool such as Power BI or Tableau or similar to provide insights that senior leadership uses to drive the business.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support the success of CONNECT priorities through the execution of the CONNECT portfolio.
Support the process improvements to the CONNECT Portfolio planning.
Simplify CONNECT Portfolio processes, documentation and reporting to improve the stakeholder experience.
Support the labor resource planning across the organization to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all visualizations.
Organize and maintain the CONNECT Sharepoint to provide centralized repository for information about the organization, leadership, portfolio, onboarding, and learning.
Obtain project status from project managers.
Collecting and analyzing portfolio data to provide recurring and adhoc reports with the purpose of measuring progress towards CONNECT goals and quarterly planning deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 30, 2026, through September 18, 2026.
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting
