This position will be located at our West facility.Impact of the Role:

• Performs manual tasks according to established procedures

Essential Functions:

• Provides technical support to engineers during the design of manufacturing processes for a production facility.
• Assists in the development of layouts or floor plans, conducts tests and troubleshoots equipment.
• Documents test procedures and results.
• Solves routine technical problems.
Required Qualifications:
• Required education and experience: Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Preferred education and experience: Associate's Degree
• Discipline/Major: Technical training preferred
• Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines. Detail oriented. Problem-solving skills. Engineering support. Manufacturing engineering. Test execution. Test documentation.
Physical Requirements:
• Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
• May need to stand for long periods of time.
• Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
• May be requested to work a different shift.
• This position is Safety-Sensitive.
