We’re currently looking for a Babysitter in Henderson, NV 89014
A lovely family near Sunset Station in Henderson is looking for a Backup Babysitter for two, 14-month-old twin girls. Care would be on an as-needed basis when daycare is closed or one, or both, children are sick. Care needs may fall any day between Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Candidates need not be available for every shift, or for the full length of every shift. However, the ideal candidate would be flexible and able to respond to late notice in cases of illness.

- Rate: $20-25 per hour
Responsibilities
- All aspects of care and monitoring for one or two toddlers, including:
- Engaging in developmentally appropriate activities to support milestones
- Light meal and snack preparation
- Maintain child's schedules and routines
- Communicate effectively with guardians regarding child's daily activities, progress, and concerns that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children - help with light housework such as dishes, laundry, and organizing toys
- There may be driving needs in the future but as of now, all care will be within the home
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2+ years of paid, professional infant care experience
- Must be able to provide at least two professional childcare references, or references that collectively cover at least two years of professional childcare experience, whichever is greater
- CPR and First Aid certified or willing to become certified
- Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and driver’s insurance
- Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check
- Must be comfortable with family’s two cats
Compensation
This position pays $20 - 25 per hour, and the family is looking for backup, occasional childcare.
