Reporting to the Executive Director, HCP Marketing, the Director, HCP Marketing will be responsible for leading select HCP-facing strategies and tactics for Arcalyst® (rilonacept).
The successful candidate will have a desire and passion to play an integral part in building a generational company focused on impacting patients with high unmet needs. The candidate must have a ‘roll up your sleeves, get things done’ mindset. The successful candidate will recognize the opportunity for growth within a growing company and will come in laser-focused on in-role execution to capitalize on that opportunity.
As a member of the Marketing Organization at Kiniksa, this role will have high visibility to senior leadership across multiple functions. They will have broad responsibilities related to driving HCP strategic initiatives forward, managing the creation of new programs and campaigns, and leading several cross-functional teams and work streams.
This role is based in our [Office Location] office. Our office-based employees follow a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Drive and develop specific HCP plans in collaboration with market access, field sales, patient services, commercial operations, insights, and analytics
- Specific projects include:
- HCP Peer-to-Peer strategy & content
- Congress strategy and execution planning (booth content, sponsorships, product theaters)
- HCP digital and NPP strategy/tactics
- Develop successful HCP campaigns that change behavior and improve patient care
- Experience in digital/omnichannel HCP campaigns and CRM strategy
- Manage agency partners and vendors on market research efforts, creation of marketing materials, materials reviews, and budget adherence
- Drive development and approval of all marketing materials through the medical, regulatory, and legal review process, and be responsible for integrating feedback to ensure compliant execution
- Interact with the HCP and medical community and other relevant stakeholders, such as advocacy organizations, in collaborations with Medical Affairs
- Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to commercial and corporate objectives and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the competitive landscape
Identify future market dynamics and opportunities to guide the US Strategy
Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred) with 7+ years of experience in a biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical brand marketing role with a minimum of 5 years of experience in HCP-focused marketing role(s)
- Sales and/or sales leadership experience is a plus
- Rare disease and specialty pharmacy experience is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion independently
- Intense curiosity, collaborative spirit, empathy, and a penchant for problem-solving
- Solutions-oriented, strong analytical and presentation skills
- Ability to champion change and drive innovative thinking
- Excellent organizational and project-management skills, sufficient to multitask in a highly fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong commitment to compliance and ethical standards
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with all levels of the organization and with external customers
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, depending on business needs
