At Lockheed Martin, we are driven by innovation and integrity. We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Staff (Circuit Card Designer) for our Owego, NY location to join our team in designing circuit card assemblies that will be used in a variety of platforms.
The Work
As a Circuit Board Designer, you will be responsible for:
Designing circuit card assemblies (CCAs) that will be used in various military platforms.
Researching, designing, and testing electronic systems and digital/analog circuitry
Architecting and designing computer hardware for advanced processing solutions, focusing on high-speed, multi-layer boards that integrate the latest processor and graphics technologies.
Leading the design process, from researching and developing electrical schematics to releasing circuit card assembly designs.
Delivering circuit card build data and conducting initial integration and testing of prototype boards.
Addressing complex technical problems with innovative solutions.
As part of our team, you will interface frequently with engineers from other disciplines, manufacturing, and program management to develop high quality designs. The role will involve applying advanced technical principles and techniques to ensure the successful design and integration of these high-performance circuit boards.

This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain a Secret U.S. government security clearance. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.
This position is onsite in Owego, NY.

Basic Qualifications
-Experience with digital circuit / logic design (schematic creation), processor design, and architecture
-Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret level clearance
-Excellent oral and written communication skills

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
