Summary:
The Arena Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting a variety of brand management, research, and project initiatives for special events at Fiserv Forum, Deer District, GATHER at Deer District and The Beer Garden. The ideal candidate exhibits outstanding attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and manage short and long-term projects.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate event and project details between departments.
- Assist with general research for upcoming events and musical acts.
- Assist with project coordination and social media planning.
- Build project outlines and recaps.
- Coordinate and assist with marketing promotions and social media accounts.
- Assist as needed with special events marketing planning and communications.
- Update website content across brands including fiservforum.com, deerdistrict.com and themeccamke.com.
- Traffic internal and external media and track performance.
- Collaborate with the Creative Services team to create project deliverables.
- Maintain overall brand integrity across all platforms and outlets.
- Assist with press releases, media relations and press conferences for special events
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- Understanding of traditional + non-traditional marketing tactics.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Available on Night and Weekends with flexibility to work.
- Detail oriented, organized and focused on accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work with a variety of departments and team members while maintaining a positive outlook and team-player mentality
