Pay Range: $22.07 to $33.11
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

What you’ll be doing…
As a Desktop Support Technician, you’ll provide hands-on technical support for coworkers at Kwik Trip’s Support Center. You’ll be responsible for deploying and maintaining hardware and software, resolving second-tier support issues, and ensuring accurate inventory tracking. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with end users, and contributing to small IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide desktop support for Support Center coworkers, resolving hardware and software issues
- Serve as second-tier support for escalated Help Desk tickets
- Analyze recurring issues and proactively identify permanent solutions
- Set up and configure new hardware including computers, monitors, printers, tablets, scanners, and mobile devices
- Fulfill IT service requests such as software installations, user account setups, remote access configuration, and permissions management
- Maintain accurate asset tracking using Kwik Trip’s Asset Management system
- Organize and manage hardware inventory and storage areas
- Rotate on-call duties approximately every 8 weeks
- Assist with small projects and other duties as assigned
You’ll need to have…
- Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field
- 0 to 2 years of experience in technical support or service desk roles
- Experience with Active Directory, IT service management tools, basic networking, and hardware/software troubleshooting
Even better if you have…
- ITIL certification or other technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, MCSE, ServiceNow)
- Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, SCCM, Cisco Jabber, Office 365 Admin, Airwatch, AS400, Hyland OnBase
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and general networking concepts
- Ability to create technical documentation and support users of varying technical skill levels
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, daytime hours. On-call rotation every 8 weeks.
