Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in GTM, sales strategy, or business transformation roles.
  • Experience in project management and leading initiatives.
  • Experience in sales enablement, role design, and competency frameworks.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience in a B2B environment and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading large-scale go-to-market or sales transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to design and implement complex organizational changes.
  • Ability to use data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

The Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Transformation team, in Google Cloud’s Value Creation organization, is a foundational part of Google's strategy. This team is focused on developing and empowering a field organization to capture new opportunities by executing key role changes and building new competencies. The team drives role redesign, role priorities, competency analysis, enablement and development needs and change management to enable a sales organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $262,000-$369,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of new and evolved roles, including role profiles, job descriptions, and core responsibilities. Develop a comprehensive GTM strategy and program roadmap with key milestones and dependencies.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute messaging frameworks, communication plans, and enablement programs for the new roles. Ensure the team has the training and tools needed for a successful transition.
  • Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the transformation. Use data to identify new opportunities and solve complex business problems.
  • Partner with a broad range of stakeholders, including role sponsors, GTM leadership, People Operations (POPS), Enablement, and Compensation teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of the transformation. Influence senior leaders and stakeholders.
