Please note: This role will require evening and weekend work.

Purpose of Role

The Events Floor Manager will be one of Diageo’s hospitality experts and will support the senior Events & Food & Beverage Management team with providing strong leadership and direction across venue.

Top Accountabilities 

  • Responsible for managing all aspects of event delivery in line with planning sheets, acting as onsite manager to ensure events and food and beverage operations are delivered effectively, safely, and professionally.

  • Support the Food & Beverage Department and Senior Bar Management with the smooth delivery and day-to-day operations wherever possible or required to do so.

  • Anticipate visitor expectations and market trends and continually review business models and service offerings to improve customer experience and profitability.  

  • Report routinely to the Senior F&B Management team on key performance indicators including service delivery, health and safety and event logistics.

  • Assisting with training and staff development as well as continuously improving their own personal development growth.

Qualifications and Experience required 

  • Management experience within a hospitality environment.

  • Experience of working within a high-end or five-star establishment, with a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Relevant hospitality or business qualification.

  • Experience servicing events within a venue and implementing venue health and safety, food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Have a consistent record of hitting premier standards within customer service, delivery of targets and KPI’s.

  • Have a proven track record of leading and motivating a successful team to achieve maximum performance. 

  • Administration skills, the ability to operate digital software systems and EPOS systems.

  • Great organization and communication skills to convey clear messages and instructions.

  • Proven track record of working at pace, responding to sales performance, prioritising multiple priorities, and consistently delivering against challenging budgets.

  • Knowledge of alcohol licensing laws across the food and beverage industry.  

  • A second language would be desirable.

  • The role will require shift and weekend work.
