Our Team:
This person will be joining a team of highly motivated individuals with the experience and the ability to support and take care of a wide range of equipment supporting the production line in a semi-conductor atmosphere. They will proudly be part of a team that works together and supports each other in a fast paced and ever-changing landscape of equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, installation and occasional de-installation of high-speed automation equipment as well as trouble shooting in solo or group level events to keep that same equipment problems resolved and to keep it running at the best of their ability.
Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician I (entry level technician), you will assist other maintenance technician team members in troubleshooting and repairing down equipment. You will be learning and performing p.m.’s’ to maximize equipment uptime and availability. You will work in partnership with production team members and engineering teams, while keeping the area lead updated on tool and area issues.
This will be an entry level position and will require working from the ground up, building relationships with other technicians as well as learning system functions and honing newly developed skills with maintenance p.m.’s and team work on entry level repairs, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance, assist with all equipment installations and / or de-installations and / or upgrades under supervision. (40%)
Work with Other team technicians in troubleshooting and evaluating equipment repairs to triage and repair down equipment or assist in upgrades. (20%)
Perform projects designated by senior level technicians in increasing efficiency for the area as a whole and the maintenance department. (10%)
Document all maintenance performed in established checklists and tracking programs, (MES, I2DS.) (10%)
Ability to start learning and working on all equipment in the Assembly, Test tape and reel as well as ZC areas including - Dicing Saws, Epoxy Printers, Grinders, Plasma Etchers, Metal Plate Line, RO water systems, MIE test and Merlin die attach equipment. (10%)
The ability to be flexible with job responsibilities and take the initiative to assume added responsibilities. (10%)
Minimum Qualifications:
HS graduate/diploma.
A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to properly use common hand tools
Basic data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills
Successfully demonstrated teamwork skills with a strong focus on effective team dynamics
The ability to be flexible with job responsibilities and take the initiative to assume added responsibilities
Basic PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage time and priorities.
Must be willing to work a 12-hour shift on a 3 to 4 days workweek schedule.
Desired Qualifications
Basic to intermediate knowledge of AC/DC circuits, including fundamentals of electricity, and basic electronic components
Trade School in associated skillsets for maintenance technician, electronics, electrical, Hvac and or Mechanic.
AAS in Electronics or Military experience in a related area of specialization, such as service technician, aircraft mechanic, or automotive mechanic would be beneficial but is not required for entry level 1 technician or applicable experience working in a semiconductor fabrication facility.
Ability to utilize an ohmmeter or a multimeter, for basic level electronics, electrical troubleshooting.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00 . There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
