We are looking for a charismatic Sales Showroom Concierge & Department Assistant to join our Inside Sales team as we continue growing in numerous markets. The ideal candidate will enjoy being the first welcoming face clients see when they walk in the door, have excellent customer service, anticipate needs of clients and the team, and have a high-level of organizational/task management skills. The purpose of this position is to make a strong first impression and provide a memorable experience when clients visit the showroom to consider purchasing from Sol-Up by checking clients in upon arrival, taking them on a tour of the office, and preparing the showroom setup and environment. This role will also support the success of the Inside Sales team with administrative tasks such as assisting with schedules, following up with clients about the post-purchase process, and helping the team with enhancements along the way.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Showroom Concierge

  • Greet and assist clients with a warm, welcoming demeanor, making them feel valued and appreciated from the moment they step through our doors. 
  • Manage the showroom sign-in sheet as clients arrive.
  • Escort visitors and clients through the Showroom Tour, explaining internal teams and the unique client support Sol-Up offers.
  • Order, track, and distribute gift cards to guests/clients.
  • Manage and maintain the showroom environment and set up such as the client refreshments, seating areas, and cleanliness.


Sales Department Assistant:

  • Assist with managing scheduling, record-keeping, and other administrative duties for the Inside Sales Manager and team to ensure smooth daily operations. 
  • Complete SB293 phone calls by following up with customers post-purchase, explain next steps of the purchase process.
  • Partner with other employees on department project committees.
  • Applies organizational and prioritization skills to assist with maintaining and/or improving internal processes for maximum efficiency in the Inside Sales department.


Essential Duties:

  • Use designated applications to manage various aspects of the job (Docusign, Dropbox, Excel, PowerPoint, Sunbase, OpenSolar, and Pisa).
  • Demonstrate a pleasant and professional disposition with each prospect, client, and employee.
  • Represent Sol-Up and our brand with professionalism, integrity, and passion.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Physical Requirements:


Must be able to:

  • Lift or carry up to 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
  • Physically access all areas of the office with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability for prolonged periods of time to sit, walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
  • Proficiency in using computers and related equipment is often necessary, requiring fine motor skills for typing, mouse operation, and other tasks.
  • Visual Acuity: Good eyesight is important for reading documents, viewing computer screens, and discerning details on printed materials.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Some repetitive tasks may be required such as data entry, filing, or assembly, which may require the ability to perform these tasks consistently and accurately over time.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, noise, dust, fragrance aromas.


Job Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a High School diploma or equivalent credentials with at least 3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Proficient in the use of MacOS and Google Workspace apps, or able to quickly learn.
  • Prefer experience with Podium, MailChimp, Sunbase, OpenSolar, and Pisa applications, or willing to learn.
  • Formatting experience (DocuSign, contracts) preferred, or willing to learn.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment and balance tasks.
  • Works independently with some guidance within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as external stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with employees, management, and external contacts.
  • Must have reliable attendance and transportation to the office.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation:

$20 - $24 per hour, based on experience and abilities

Discretionary bonus opportunities, based on performance


Schedule:

Full-time, 8am - 4:30pm, at least 40 hours per week Tuesday - Saturday in the office, weekends as needed based on business demands.
