Description
For Machinists $3,000 sign-on bonus: Upon hire, you will receive $1,500 in six months and another $1,500 in one year. The days and times for 1st shift are Monday through Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm. Overtime occurs as necessary. Check out our YouTube video for machining.
Starting pay range:
- Mid-level Candidates: $25-$29/hour
 - Experienced Candidates: $30-$40/hour
 
Requirements
The CNC Machinist: is responsible for producing parts to specifications using machine tools, hand tools, and inspection equipment. The machinist will:
- Load and unload machines
 - Change tools
 - Set up CNC machines (Haas, Mazak, Doosan)
 - Perform offsets
 - Edit G and M codes
 - Perform secondary duties (broach, buffer, deburr, grind, etc.)
 - Inspect parts
 - Perform general maintenance on machines
 - Other duties as assigned
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Basic computer skills
 - Basic math skills (standard and metric)
 - Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
 - Ability to follow work instructions accurately
 - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbal)
 - Ability to work well independently as well as with others
 - Have attention to detail
 - Ability to multi-task
 - Ability to proficiently read and write in English
 - Ability to follow all safety rules
 - Ability to work independently without guidance
 - Basic understanding of inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
 - Basic understanding of G-Code and M-Code and ability to write basic programs
 - Knowledge of machine operations
 - Ability to operate crane
 - Ability to read and understand a blueprint, tolerances, and drafting symbols related to machining
 - Experience with Haas, Mazak and Doosan equipment is a plus
 - Ability to do machining problem solving
 - Ability to solve tooling issues
