Job Description
We are looking for you to join our team as a System Software Administrator, based out of Boulder, CO.
Key Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications and operating software and systems configurations.
Develop and maintain operating software using automation tools including Ansible and Puppet.
Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops utility programs, configuration management tools, and operating systems.
Ensures software engineering and cyber security standards are met.
Basic Qualifications:
5 years of experience with a Bachelors’ degree in Software Engineering or STEM discipline; 3 years of experience with a Masters’ degree in Software Engineering or STEM discipline or 1 years with a PHD in Software Engineering or STEM discipline.
Active Top secret SCI clearance required
Experience with automation for monthly patching of entire technology suite to include, ONTAP, RSA, VMWare, and RHEL 9.
Must have experience with automation for system updates, configuration changes, and STIG implementation.
