The Opportunity
We’re currently seeking a Substation Automation Tender Specialist to join our international team serving Southern Europe. Based in Paço de Arcos, you’ll play a key role in shaping high-quality, competitive bids that support our mission of delivering cutting-edge automation solutions.
In this role, you’ll lead the tendering process from initial request to contract handover. You’ll be responsible for crafting technically sound, commercially viable, and legally compliant offers that meet customer specifications and drive profitable business.
Your scope will span substation automation projects — from products and services to full-scale solutions. While your primary focus will be the Portuguese market, you’ll also support export projects and regional tenders across Southern Europe.
You’ll collaborate closely with supply chain, sales, and technical teams to ensure every bid reflects our commitment to excellence and innovation.
How you will make an impact
Lead the end-to-end tendering process, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
Define scope of supply and align offers with customer specifications and strategic goals.
Collaborate with supply chain to source competitive subcontractor quotations.
Estimate costs, calculate margins, and determine sales prices in coordination with sales.
Provide technical support during early pursuit stages and contract negotiations.
Prepare internal documentation for risk reviews and tender approvals.
Your background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Solid understanding of substation automation, control, and protection systems.
Familiarity with the grid automation market and its dynamics.
Experience in tendering and commercial processes is a strong advantage.
Fluent in English; additional languages (Spanish, French, Italian, Croatian, etc.) are a plus.
Willingness to travel occasionally (up to ~10%) for customer meetings.
