Position Summary:
Deliver a white-glove, concierge-level banking experience to high-net-worth individuals and business owners by blending
deep product knowledge with impeccable service standards to assemble tailored loan and deposit packages, anticipating
client needs, and ensuring every interaction reflects the sophistication of the Cobalt brand while playing a key role in
providing retail banking services and products to all bank customers.

Essential Task Statement(s)
Branch Credit/Ownership (80%)
- Client Experience and Service
- Greet, onboard, and serve clients with a polished, solution-oriented approach.
- Serve as primary day-to-day contact for Cobalt clients, promptly resolving inquiries while maintaining absolute confidentiality.
- Coordinate concierge touches (e.g., appointment setting, event invitations, travel & courier services) that enhance the Cobalt experience.
- Loan and Deposit Package Development
- Collect, verify, and organize financial documentation; prepare complete, presentation-ready loan and deposit files for review/approval.
- Liaise with credit, underwriting, and back-office teams to ensure seamless processing and timely funding.
- Track key milestones, proactively communicating status updates to clients and internal partners.
- Relationship Management & Cross Team Collaboration
- Partner with Cobalt Bankers, Wealth Advisory, Trust, and Business Services to deliver holistic solutions
- Maintain accurate Customer Relationship Management records, client profiles, and service plans
- Assist with market events, client appreciation functions, and community engagement aligned to Cobalt’s brand.
- Retail Banking
- Perform all paying and receiving teller functions.
- Responsible for the safekeeping of any cash or cash equivalent in their possession.
- Open, balances, and replenishes ATM/ITM as assigned.
- Sell, service, and cross sell products and services, deposit accounts, loan products, and transaction accounts.
- Assist in development of new business by interviewing customers, determining the financial services they desire, explaining to them their alternatives, and referring them to the appropriate staff.
- Open accounts by preparing the appropriate documents.
- Research and resolve customer problems, acting as the customer liaison between other bank departments when necessary.
- Initiate wire transfers and debit card disputes on behalf of customers.
- Initiate debit card disputes on behalf of customers.
- Continually safeguard the bank’s assets and security of the working environment while processing transactions accurately. All work must be performed within bank guidelines, following bank policies, procedures, and standards of performance.
- Ensure bank is in compliance with federal banking regulations including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, Community Reinvestment Act, American with Disabilities Act, Right to Financial Privacy Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, the Federal Reserve’s “lettered” regulations, and Cobalt Concierge Universal Banker roles and responsibilities relating to each act.
Customer Service (10%)
- Represent Guaranty Bank & Trust Company professionally, efficiently, and tactfully
- Acknowledge and greet customers with a smile, call customer by their name, ask if they need any additional assistance, thank customer at end of every conversation
- Ensure continuing development of professional relationships with management and colleagues.
- Follow all bank policies and procedures
- Answer and assist incoming callers with questions and requests, subsequently route callers, as appropriate.
- Receive incoming bank visitors and assist in directing them appropriately.

Position Qualifications
Education: Required – Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or related field; previous related work experience will be considered.
Experience: Required – 3 + years in private, commercial, or universal banking—or comparable client-facing financial
services role.
Preferred –5+ years of experience in banking or a related area. Proven success assembling loan and deposit packages.
Licenses and Certifications: Required – None
Preferred – Notary, NMLS.
