GSF Properties Inc. is looking for a Floating Maintenance Technician in Madera and Firebaugh, CA. Come join a dynamic property management team!
**This position does require valid driver's license and must be able to travel to Madera and Firebaugh. Must have at least 2+ years of current and proven apartment maintenance experience to be considered**
Qualifications / Skills for Maintenance Technician:
- Good communication skills
 - Computer literate (outlook/property management software)
 - Ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff
 - Strong organizational skills
 - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
 - Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
 - General building maintenance skills (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
 - General grounds keeping skills
 - Ability to manage emergency situations
 - Professionalism
 - Listening
 
Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:
- Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
 - Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
 - Report violations of lease and house rules
 - Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant’s maintenance needs are being met
 - Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
 - Perform preventative maintenance duties
 - Maintaining excellent curb appeal
 - Follow policies and procedures
 - Grounds

Requirements
Job Requirements for Floating Maintenance Technician:
- Minimum of 2+ years of current and proven experience in multi-family apartment maintenance
 - Able to work independently and follow directions
 - Basic understanding of light maintenance and the desire to develop those skills
 - Excellent customer service
 - Ability to work well as a team
 - Able to drive to Madera and Firebaugh
 - Able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (40 hours per week)
