Maintenance Technician

Full Time | Non-Exempt 

Ravenscroft School seeks a Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and functionality of our campus buildings and grounds. This role includes general maintenance, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, painting, event set-up, equipment operation, and assisting with safety and security needs. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs on buildings and grounds
• Maintain and install non-certified electrical and plumbing systems 
• Paint, repair and set up facilities for events 
• Operate tools, golf carts, lifts and other motorized equipment 
• Support traffic control, campus safety and storm clean-up
• Perform other duties as assigned to support facilities operations 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Minimum of 3 years maintenance-related experience 
• Valid NC CDL required 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a part of a diverse team 
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events 

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

• Indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions 
• Exposure to dust, dirt, pollen, noise and chemicals 
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling and lifting upn to 50 lbs 
• Operation of hand tools, power tools and motorized equipment
