Now Hiring: Automation Technician - 1st shift

Pay starting at $35 - $38/hour.

What You'll Do

• Program FANUC robots
• Create and modify robotic programs, PLC ladder logic, etc.
• File organization of all automation equipment programs
• Optimize equipment and machinery to ensure that production goals are met
• Set-ups, change overs and process control within established parameters
• Assist engineers and team members with new equipment installation and implementation
• Create BOM, part drawings and wire schematics for new projects and existing equipment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams including complex automated system drawings.
• Assist with the creation and updating of Eck Industries lock out procedures using the Brady Link 360 software.
• Maintain continuous system operation by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying automation/robotic system components.
• Support production operations after hours to ensure that Eck’s customer demands are met
• Ability to maintain the highest level of safety, housekeeping, productivity, and quality with minimal supervision.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.

• Associated degree in Electro/Mechanical Technology or Automation Engineering Technology from an accredited institution preferred

• 2 to 3 years of industrial automation experience.
