Preschool Worship Assistant - Plano Campus chez Prestonwood Baptist Church

Description

Provides support for the Children’s choirs at Prestonwood Baptist Church (“PBC”).

Responsibilities:

• Provides assistance prior to and during choir rehearsal
• Assists with choir room set up
• Greets parents, answers questions, and responds to inquiries
• Assists with coordination of special events
• Ensures volunteer screening processes are followed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as a member of PBC
• Prior experience in Children’s ministry
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Team player
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products
• Able to perform physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as in climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, where the activities often also require considerable use of the arms and legs, and able to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance
