The systemwide diversion prevention program manager is a key role responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive diversion prevention program across CentraCare including all hospitals, clinics, outpatient departments, retail pharmacies and EMS. The primary objective of this position is to design and execute strategies that mitigate the risk of diversion of medications ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while maintaining standards of patient care and safety. Primarily will work in the St. Cloud area but does require traveling throughout entire service area, including but not limited to Monticello, Willmar, Redwood Falls, and Baxter.

Schedule:

  • Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | Onsite
  • Days | Regular working hours Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm | Does require some work outside regular hours 
  • No weekends or holidays!

Pay and Benefits: 

  • Starting pay begins at $116,219.90 per year and increases with experience
  • Salary range:  $116,219.90 - $139,505.6 per year
    • Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications: 

  • One of the following degrees required:
    • Bachelor's Degree or higher in nursing 
    • Pharmacy Degree (BSN or Doctorate)
  • One of the following licenses required:
    • Registered Nurse (RN) current licensure in state of Minnesota 
    • Pharmacist current licensure in state of Minnesota 
  • 5 years related pharmacy or nursing experience
  • Experience in healthcare administration, clinical pharmacy, nursing, or a related role with a focus on diversion prevention and controlled substance management preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to diversion prevention and controlled substances 
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis, reporting, and auditing procedures 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse teams and stakeholders 
  • Demonstrated competence in organizational leadership, communication, and research
