What will you be doing:

The Reporting Analyst will play a key role in generating, analyzing, and interpreting data to support operational decision-making, performance monitoring, and process improvement across the UM division. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, a keen understanding of healthcare utilization trends, and the ability to communicate data-driven insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and automate reporting solutions to track Home Health UM KPIs such as referral volumes, turnaround times (TAT), authorization rates, and provider performance.
  • Extract, analyze, and interpret large medical and pharmacy claims datasets to identify cost trends, utilization outliers, and opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Build analytical models to support clinical decision-making and strategic planning within Home Health services.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and other BI tools to provide actionable insights to UM leadership and clinical teams.
  • Support cross-functional teams by generating ad hoc and scheduled reports for internal stakeholders including Finance, Operations, and Clinical Programs.
  • Serve as a data subject matter expert for UM-related metrics, collaborating with IT and business teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Document business requirements and develop user-friendly reporting interfaces based on feedback and usability.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of analytical standards and best practices across the department.
  • Participate in PI planning, stakeholder meetings, and agile ceremonies when needed to support business initiatives
