Maintenance Technician-SFH chez BRAD HALL COMPANIES

Description

South Fork Housing is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician. SFH has over 1700 leased spaces in Idaho. The properties include Student Housing at Brigham Young University- Idaho in Rexburg, ID and single-family housing.

The Maintenance Technician will primarily be focused on:

• Follow company safety standards and report issues.
• Monitor and complete work orders to meet tenant expectations including:
  • Appliance repair.
  • Fire suppression system maintenance and operation.
  • Operates lifts and other construction type equipment in maintaining the property.
  • Carpet cleaning.
  • Rotate on call with other maintenance techs.
  • Addressing plumbing issues.
  • Changing air filters and light bulbs.
  • Drywall repair.
  • Electrical troubleshooting.
  • Landscaping and curb appeal.
  • Snow removal as needed.
• Other maintenance requests and issues as needed.
• Complete weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance schedule.
• Assist in and complete snow removal and grounds care as needed.

The preferred candidate for the Maintenance Technician will have the following:

• Two or more years' experience in maintenance, operations, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and able to learn company systems and processes.
• Adheres to the company’s values and ethical expectations.
• Able to effectively multitask.
• Strong understanding of facility systems and maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, interior and exterior paint, appliance repair, etc.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
