JOB SUMMARY

The Sr Manager, IT Enterprise Solutions will support network infrastructure, IT security solutions, cloud applications, and enterprise business applications. They will manage IT projects. This position has primary responsibility for driving the initiative to migrate from the current co-located data center to our AWS accounts. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide extensive support for network infrastructure, security, cloud, and ongoing IT projects. 
  • Provide support for the transition from the collocated data center to AWS and manage the cloud hosting environment. 
  • Provide subject matter knowledge with Active Directory, M365, Windows Server, and Windows 10/11 with an emphasis on system security policies.
  • Provide comprehensive security, threat analysis consultation to business units, IT management, and cloud services management staff at the highest technical level, and drive processes that drive the platform security policies, patterns, and roadmap.
  • Provide support for M365 as well as guide and supervise both internal and external technical teams on the design, build, and deployment of M365, including system administration to support existing and future systems to enable seamless integration into the company’s environments.
  • Provide support regarding IT policies, regulatory requirements, and audits by customers and other authorities.
  • Other duties as required or assigned.

TRAVELING

Remote, but should be local to NYC/NJ offices in Manhattan and Eatontown, NJ for occasional site visits.  


 Salary for this position is based on the candidate’s location, skills, and expertise, with a maximum range of up to $145,000. 

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

The Sr. Manager position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field. Extensive experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

7+ years of experience working in IT with an emphasis on Enterprise Systems and Cloud Security engineering.

Hands-on experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Security Engineer.

Hands-on experience with Active Directory, MS Windows Server, Windows 10/11 Pro, M365, and SharePoint.

Proven experience with AWS and AWS Security Best Practices.

Good knowledge of Cisco Meraki, FortiGate, VPN, WAF’s and network infrastructure design and architecture.  

Experience implementing an MDR system for data protection threat detection in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.  

Ability to multitask as needed and a willingness to learn and apply new technical skills as needed.

Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience in leading a cloud migration initiative is highly desirable.

Experience in a life sciences environment is desirable.
