Position Summary:
The Senior Esthetician at Level is a key leadership role responsible for providing advanced aesthetic treatments, leading and mentoring the esthetician team, and ensuring exceptional client care. This position requires a deep understanding of skincare, strong technical skills, and the ability to foster client relationships and staff development. The Senior Esthetician will contribute to the growth and success of the practice by performing comprehensive skin analyses, administering specialized treatments, and maintaining high standards of practice and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultations and Treatments:
- Conduct comprehensive skin analyses and consultations to determine appropriate treatments and skincare regimens.
- Perform advanced aesthetic treatments, including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser treatments, and other specialized services.
- Ensure all treatments are administered safely and effectively, adhering to the highest standards of practice.
- Leadership and Mentorship:
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior estheticians and support staff.
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent technical skills and a commitment to client care.
- Assist in developing and implementing training programs for new and existing staff.
- Product and Service Recommendations:
- Recommend skincare products and home care regimens tailored to clients' needs.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, techniques, and products in the aesthetics industry.
- Contribute to the selection and evaluation of products and equipment used in the practice.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients to ensure a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Address client questions, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Follow up with clients to monitor the effectiveness of treatments and adjust plans as necessary.
- Operational and Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Ensure treatment areas are clean, organized, and comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with scheduling, inventory management, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Valid state license in esthetics or cosmetology.
Advanced certifications in relevant aesthetic treatments (e.g., laser treatments, chemical peels).
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an esthetician, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of skincare products, ingredients, and current industry trends.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant software.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a wellness or medical spa setting.
Additional certifications in specialized aesthetic treatments.
Knowledge of holistic wellness practices.
