Responsibilities:
The Senior Product Analyst or Product Specialist will support in monitoring and evolving business strategies based on structured and consistent analysis. This role requires a strong ability to contribute data-driven and experience -driven ideas, actively supporting the execution of strategic initiatives. The position can be located in either Wilkes-Barre, PA, New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Conshohocken, PA, Parsippany, NJ or Atlanta GA.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex internal and external data to shape product strategy. Quantify and monitor their impact on growth and profitability across all Small Commercial Lines of Businesses.
- Effectively manage analytical projects of high complexity using available tools and data systems to identify and solve business issues and present findings to Line of Business and Senior leaders.
- Support the design, development and implementation of system and process solutions that align with business strategy.
- Conduct competitor intelligence research to evaluate business strategies.
- Understand predictive modeling and other quantitative concepts and serve as a resource to others interpreting these concepts for business applications.
- Document, maintain, and version control underwriting guidelines, strategies and enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Economics).
- 3+ years of experience in product analytics, pricing, or actuarial roles within P&C insurance, with specific experience in small commercial lines.
- Proficiency in SQL and BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Excellent communication skills with ability to convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Must be comfortable and proficient working in a matrixed environment, with stakeholders at various levels and in various departments.
Salary Range
$65,000-$120,000.00 USD
The successful candidate is expected to work in one of our offices 3 days per week and also be available for travel as required.
The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the U.S. and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and/or training.
