Reporting to the Director of Commercial Operations and Enablement, the Commercial Financial Consultant is primarily responsible for providing financial and strategic support to the Commercial Excellence team made up of commercial and marketing leaders to maximize revenue while realizing cost and operational efficiencies. This role will role will help implement/leverage sales enablement practices such as CRM tool integration, forecasting excellence, and supply/demand planning management. They will build an operating cadence that captures the critical KPIs governing progress and outcomes with a robust analytics lens.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Provide financial leadership to the US Commercial Business Leaders, US Marketing Leaders in understanding market trends, opportunity pipelines and revenue trends.
- Evaluate product opportunity pipelines and usage trends (among other metrics) to optimize results, evaluate forecasts and ensure accurate supply/demand planning.
- Assist in business reviews of product portfolios and provide actionable guidance to commercial leadership. This includes analysis, expense policy monitoring, identification and execution on strategies to improve profit margins.
- Provide analytic support for top account conversions including; supply/demand needs, analytical tools/dashboards and post-conversion results. This will require cross functional collaboration with sales, marketing and supply chain
- Drive Commercial Excellence annual operating plan process (expense management)
- Lead implementation/updates to key sales enablement tools such as CRM tool integration, forecasting excellence, and supply/demand planning.
- Collaborate with Sales Systems team to optimize systems tools and reporting.
- Engage in special projects as assigned.
- Must have the ability to communicate to all levels of management; both written and verbal
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Nice to Have
- Fluency in financial modelling and analytics
- Ability to synthesize complex information to craft strategic recommendations regarding go to market strategy, market share expansion opportunities and sales enablement initiatives
- Ability to forge strong relationships and build influence
- Demonstrated ability to influence and work effectively in a matrix organization
- Strong understanding of the Med Device / Surgical Device market
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Statistics
- Excellent computer skills; including all Microsoft packages; proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- SalesForce, PowerBI and comparable management tools experience a plus
- Willing to travel domestically (10%) and/or engaged with U.S. commercial team members and customers across time zones.
- Operationally savvy and able to directly and indirectly manage workstreams, timelines, and processes.
